The Japanese public basically ridiculed the hostages for placing themselves in harms way and then requiring the assistance of the Government.
Don't expect any significant action as a result of this.

I cannot be the only one noticing how the immune effect already set in on us, as people, as societies...
This thread.... Several month ago, would be 20+ pages long and everyone outraged up the barricades, combined with the obligatory 3 - 5 bans issued already..
But now.... I guess, we're determining already how many fucks we give anymore, amirite?

Nah, probably fought.
If your kneeling in the sand, with someone behind you with a knife, and you know what has happened to everyone else that has had this happen, were all beheaded, would you sit there like a good lamb waiting to be slaughtered? Even if they have ak 47's aimed at you?
Id rather be riddled with bullets and then have my head taken than sit there, pissing my life away. I would attack my executioner. I am surprised that none of the executed have yet to fought back, even if it was biting the man's ankles.
Or just a faulty bomb.

If there's ever military involvement people will bitch about how we shouldn't be over there and how it's the U.S's fault.

It's sad that he died but I think the world is better off for it. ISIS is being swiftly defeated by US airstrikes and Kurdish fighters so I don't think now is the time to be negotiating with them.
If ever a wall was needed, how about a wall surrounding the entire Middle East. Let them hash their own shit out. Let's see what comes of it.
The only thing that goes through my mind is, how did Japan end up in this mess? I thought IS had a thing for the west?
But anyways, Japan will not do anything. They will be beheaded and not much will come out of it.
Al Qaeda should tell them what happens when they keep poking at the West. The fact that no one wants to deal with ISIS's shit is going to make it worst for ISIS when they finally push someone (NATO) over the edge.
Although i feel bad for the hostage, what will Japan do?
since its Japan, where is their robot army? In the not too distant future im seeing japan build an army of Terminator robots whose sole purpose is to destroy ISIS. or samurai robots. or ones with flamethrowers attached. any kind of robots would do.
we already have bomb diffusing robots. how about actual fighting robots
