For many things out there, there is an age restriction. Some countries have changed their laws recently, others don't really care.
What are your thoughts?

I don't care
Legal age for what? Smoking? Drinking? Consent to intercourse? Voting?
14 Consent to Intercourse
16 Smoking/Drinking
18 Driving/Voting
That's basicly how it is right here if I'm not mistaken and sounds about right.
Kinda like a perk system. You don't get everything at once and you can see forward to something avaery other year for your birthday
Ban smoking, and drinking!
Otherwise idc...
As long as people can take responsibility and not suddenly whine about it when they fuck up, then people can do what they want.
"many things" uhh
let's try lowering everything, observe the results and do damage control afterwards!
nothing can go wrong!
21 Consent to Intercourse
21 Smoking/Drinking
21 Driving/Voting
21 Gambling
21 Out after 11PM (unless working with work permit)
21 Signing a contract
21 Obtain a credit card
21 Obtain an abortion
If I was king for a day:
16 - sex, driving
18 - military service, alcohol, gambling, prostitution, guns, cigarettes and other drugs - legally an adult
So basically the same as it is in my state except moving consent down a year and full gun ownership rights down to 3. Once you're an adult you should be entitled to your full rights
In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.
One thing I don't understand is why the age for porn is higher than the age for having sex. Shouldn't they be the same age?
@Orlong why should age of abortion be a restriction?
When you're below the legal age all you can think about is how cool it would be to over the age limit, once you reach it, meh.

This looks about right to me.
Get the stupidity out of your system before you are allowed to get behind the wheel of a 1 tonne "high speed" metal petrol bomb.
Personally I would outright ban smoking and drinking. but thats a personal thing.
Additionally, there should be no legal age to abortion. Making a mistake, and living with it's consequences are very different things. Never mind the implications of being forced to support a child when you most likely aren't yet able to support yourself.
However there should in my view, be an obligation for support worker to evaluate the family and inform the parents/guardians of the person having the abortion where appropriate.

Not to mention making the child pay for it too by likely only having 1 parent who has little chance of being around and very little to teach that child.
We may as well make the legal age for drinking and sex somewhere around 13-14 in the UK, it's not like many take any notice of the current limits. Driving should be higher than the current 17, I'd go for 25.
