    Get a crucial mx100 or samsung 840 evo (make sure to update firmware before using)

    You may want to change the MoBo. It needs a bios update to run Haswell Refresh CPUs (which the one you put in is)
    V300 is... not good. It's barely better than a standard 7200RPM HDD.

    Choices that you can do.
    Opt to get a higher capacity SSD like the MX100 256GB at $100.
    No SSD at all and get a GTX 960 video card.

    I picked the i3 due to budget concerns and cause it's higher clocked. It will trail behind a bit the i5 in multi-core applications due to 2 physical core 2 hyper thread as opposed to 4 physical cores. Hyper thread obviously being weaker.
