Replacing HM mythic pieces with heroic BRF tier set pieces a dps loss?

yea for SV you may need to sim it to see the difference. I mean a socket is what, 35 MS or 50MS depending on what gem you want to drop in it. Is the gem worth the weapon damage loss is your main question.

hm, I didn't mention a socket. Comparing Mythic brackenspore bow to heroic maiden's gun. No socket/terciaries nor warforged.

Yea the tool is really simple to use. you can also try simming it (although that takes a bit more work). One thing to consider is your raid also. the difference is only 7 value but if you have a fellow hunter that only has a heroic bracken bow, you might consider passing it to them.

Ah well if you already have the weapon you can easily do the sims. Just equip one, log out and import the sim. Then equip the other, log out and import that one and run the sim.

If you know how to do that properly, then yes that works too. For someone that doesnt know how to do the sim stuff indepth (and didnt know about the compare tool) my option works too ;p
