Depends on my opening hand. If I have a smooth curve, like 2-3-4, I'd rather go first, since I can play on curve and be ahead of my opponent.

If I have something clunky like two 3 drops in my opening hand, I'd rather go second, so I can coin out the 3 early and still have follow up.

With all the aggressive decks nowadays though, going 2nd feels like it's way more advantageous. The ability to drop minions from the first turn on in such a fast meta is a significant advantage. Especially when you factor in plays like turn 1 coin Mechwarper + Clockwork Gnomes.
