How strict is airport security in Israel? I wouldn't mind heading to Jerusalem atleast once in the future (only because I'm a history nerd). I just keep thinking if I ever go there, I'll be held and interrogated for hours before they let me through. I'm a Canadian atheist, not a muslim but I'm also of Pakistani descent and have an Arabic name. I remember when I went to New York one time, the TSA made my life hell.

Or you could go to the occupied West Bank and watch people get bulldozed off their homes

But as long as sexy women with M16s are doing it then it's okay

Sounds like you don't know much about "the entire region".

Sounds like you're confusing Israel with some third world country.

This. The hardest thing about going to a country like Israel is that you, willing or unwilling, support the cultural genocide that the government sports.

Sure. Turkey only has Human Rights for Sunni Muslims. God help you if you are a Jew, an Armenian, a Christian, an Alevi Muslim, a Shia Muslim, or God forbid, a Greek.

The airport security is pretty tight. I am not sure how the guards will react to you. They definitely check everyone well for weapons, and given your situation it may happen on more than one occasion. That being said, Jerusalem is a very popular religious pilgrimage site, so lots of people from all around the world visit it. I doubt that the airport security will freak out over your name.

You should also say that the Israeli soldiers who are responsible for Airport Security are very often female, brown, and extremely sexy little things who respond very well to flirting so it is to your benefit to be "interviewed" for more than 20 minutes.

Hah, after 2000 searches and constant stress about possible terrorists sneaking in, one would not expect even the prettiest security girl to be flirty.
The airport guards only seemed professionally emotionally detached, from what I can remember.

One day I hope to visit Israel after the children are out of the house. I hope it isn't a nuclear wasteland by then.
And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him.

At 4 minutes Max Blumenthal describes arriving at Ben Gurion international airport

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qLQ3...outu.be&t=4m2s

"If I want to get extra preferential treatment, I'll tell them that I have an Israeli Jewish girlfriend, and that we're considering getting married because the production of Jewish babies goes to the heart of the strategic deterrence of the Jewish state because they have to establish a demographic edge over the Palestinians, and so when I've done that, I was waved through an additional security check with big smiles."

^ A Note for those of you that want to date sexy Israeli female soldiers with M-16s while entering Ben Gurion International airport.

This article feel so pathetic. That feels like some joke about 'Murica, "very often female (...) sexy (...) respond very well to flirting". A facepalm would do as an answer.

Israel is despicable, (its government, not its people.) and that makes me hate the country. "Diversity" Yes, I have that diversity here, and that's no problem, I'm not questioning myself, "Was that women/man evicted from her land to make room for more settlers". I mean, it's like "We got a bad image, so let's clear that up, and make some stupid patriotic post." Oh yeah right. I mean, it's great, a country living only for the benefit of the west, being a mere puppet that is going out of control, saying "we did this" while in reality, it's just the money that was put into this country that allowed 75% of what it is today.

Israel is the only country where army reservists are commanded by officers younger than their own children.
100% wrong. Can happen in switzerland. Actually I was instructor for people 2-3 times older than me just after my classes.

And if it's wrong on one thing, it can be wrong on all. (Sunset on mediteranean is also retarded. Never heard of Greece or Italy seriously ???)

The problem with Israel is not what happens within the internationally recognized borders of the State of Israel, the problem with Israel is what they've been doing (illegally) in the Occupied West Bank in bulldozing people's houses and tent cities and building condominiums, rerouting water resources and arresting protestors.

Here's some glorious heroes with their M16s courageously defending the destruction of a children's playground.

I suggest reading the definition of anecdotal evidence.

    http://knoema.com/atlas/Israel/topic...idnapping-rate
    http://www.cnn.com/CNN/Programs/ande...tatistics.html

You're 4 times more likely to be kidnapped by a non-parent in the United States. Further, you're referencing the West Bank. Nobody is vacationing in the West Bank, it's like saying "I don't want to travel to the US because it isn't safe on the Mexican border towns, people get killed there!"

Come on man, we all know hamas was using that playground as a site to launch their missiles. /s

Yeah, you're right. Israel should just let them continue to lob rockets every day over the border. No biggie, they're just peaceful people, maybe they'll eventually stop.
