I remember there being a page by someone named gahdo with sims of all trinkets for the different specs. I can't seem to find it to figure out of it's worth dropping HM hc trinkets (runestone + shards) for normal brf trinkets. The link would be much appreciated.

Darmacs is amazing with Mythic Shards for Affliction, If you're like me and can't roll a trinket to save a life I'd hold out for blackhand too.

If you're familiar with Simcraft I think this is the most proper way to make trinket lists:

The rest of the default script is unchanged, set trinket 2 something you'll most likely stick with, # means that line should be ignored (in this case I already have a version of Shards equipped, so I take those out - not sure it would even run tho), if you add to the list use the links provided on wowhead with the same format. Also don't forget to turn scaling and graphs and all those off as it would run it for all copies and that takes ages.
If you're in my situation with 2 HM trinkets and aren't sure what's best to use you'll have to do this for both of those to see proper combinations.

I've also attached the full Simcraft list below which you simply add to your import, change your trinket, and add a # in front of any trinkets you don't want to calculate.

I still hate the way our trinket information is all spread out right now. Destro/affliction has literally 1-2 posts about them with very little info. I still don't know what my BiS is and i've searched forums/sims for 5 + hours. (I play destro/aff obv)

How is goren not > unstable/micro as destro??? Isnt crit our best stats? Confused... Thought it was crit=mastery > haste no matter what

Yeah that's my mistake sorry, it was already assuming Goren's was equip - and was calculating the next best for your second slot. I'll chuck the sim for pure value below (again in BiS gear). The reason for lower dps is that it's calculating the value of each trinket, not a combination of trinkets. (Which you would have to do each combination individually).

Previous post is Destro, below is Affliction - both are taking into account no current trinkets so essentially the top two are best (of course no duplicates aloud).

What specs are you running with those sims? Serv/DS and Sup/SB:H?

Current patch (not 6.1), Supremacy/DS with AD for both (Sup/SB:Haunt was actually simming lower).

I'd be happy to re-do it once 6.1 hits, with Cataclysm/Synergy for add fights, and SB:Haunt/Serv for Affli single target (or which ever Grimoire ends up being best), along with any updated rotation/priorities.
