Duncan confirms they cut out a lot of things from the movie and that there hopefully will be an extended cut when it comes out in home video:

there is a LOT of extra stuff we cut out, so hope so! One day.

Lolz, if that's really the case, I have a feel that Warcraft will be one of the first movies I'll get in physical DVD / Blu-Ray format. Expanding my precious Warcraft/WoW collection

At this point I personally just don't care about the trailer anymore. Just roll out the movie in a few months and go from there. I'm confident that it'll do good enough to spark the sequels and that's all that matters publicity wise.

There is room for a lot of stuff in the second trailer. For example, I'd like to see anything story-wise about Gul'dan or Medivh. We barely even saw those 2 so far. Which kinda kills that "they've spoiled too much already" story. I think that if they don't show anything new with those 2 characters up until the release of the movie, the general public is in for a surprise indeed. ( I personally think Ben Foster will do an amazing job.)

I think they're aiming for surprising the audience with Medivh and Gul'dan, so I don't think they'll show much of them in the trailers.

To be fair, some of those shots are pretty awesome, so I can't blame them if they repeat them.

Pretty good idea actually since he's the obvious villain, being a big hulking orc with raptor skulls and spinal colums as armor ornaments.

EDIT: Just realized they haven't really built up any villains so far, except war itself, which is more than a little ironic considering the title is Warcraft.

Indeed, kinda like when Star Wars presented Finn as the future Jedi in the trailers when it was actually Rey in the movie, which was a nice surprise.

Honestly, their whole fight with Kylo Ren was a big surprise. I always wanted someone to show the audience how brutal the lightsaber actually is, and JJ did it. They should continue that with a bounty hunter burning people alive in the next movie, imo.

The fact that humans lose the war and Stormwind gets razed. I mean, how often do you see a downer ending in a high fantasy movie?

Tho, there is no villains in Warcraft (movie) IMHO. There is only good guys and bad guys on each side.

It would be a fun plot twist if the Storm trooper commander (the woman who plays Briane of Tart in Got) was actually a Mandalorian. She looks the part.

Since the start I've always knew that they don't want to build the villains of the film. It seems and has been apperant that they are advertising it as a film of survival, which isn't necesarily incorrect from a particular character point of view, but it seems to me that they just don't want to beat people on the head with ''It's this guy fault that this is happening''. I don't expect that to happen, so just might aswell get used to it.
