Wouldn't be surprising, it costs a shit ton to advertise now... The reported $100 million budget was just the production budget.
Legendary is trying to spawn a franchise here... If this movie does exceedingly well they have at least two more cash cows to milk.
Orgrim has learned how to duplicate himself and is currently in both Germany
and Spain.

Also, Karazhan has such a pretty set.
Lol, BvS was shit from the beginning. The damn concept of the movie was a big clusterfuck. Like, come on... How could one possibly think that Batman and Superman are in the same league, powerwise?
BvS was bullshit. Only drew in people cuz of Batman and Superman and Batman vs Superman.
I agree that quality is more important. I only meant that quality is closer to being guaranteed right now than a good box office is. So when I say that I don't worry about quality, I don't mean that I think the average moviegoer will ignore a potentially bad or mediocre film, I mean that we can pretty much be sure right now that the film will objectively be at least good.

The movie ultimately wasn't even about their conflict. "But hurr durr it's in the title, it's gotta be the main plot point of the movie." Gotta love people like that.
I'd like to ask a question, just to have something for us to talk about;
Why do you people think this movie will be good?
For "us" or for the general audience? or both.
I just think this high fantasy setting and story / twists make for a good movie. general audience will be really surprised about some of the plot twists / deaths, and "fresh" take on the standard fantasy movie genre. And people who already know the story will get it retold with great visuals, acting and cinematography. also, gotta love them eastereggs.
1. Director, who is a veteran franchise player and understands the core of the game, has always wanted to make it and is passionet about it.
2. Blizzard, who was smart enough to say no to Uwe Boll and declined Sam Reimi (the guy who did the original Spiderman trilogy) has full support for him.
3. Visuals are freaking impressive.
4. High Fantasy movie.
Been a fan of Duncan Jones since Moon, I was surprised they hired him when they did and was stoked(he turned down Wolverine for this). He's a great story teller and I can't wait to see how he directed this film. Also the actors I'm most excited for are Ben Foster and Toby Kebbell.
