Steven Tyler but he's mixed iirc. Don't know if that counts.

    Redbone (70s band):

And the unclear situation about Tommy Bolin comes to mind too, whether he has or does not have Sioux blood in him.
he damn looked a lot like one tho...
Of those I've only heard of Hendrix. And he's been dead for 40 years.

We can count him, as at least he's not some obscure 70s act.

Wildtree needs to update his record collection.

Nothing of what he said is wrong.
But it is only a contributing aspect, and not the explanation for the whole situation..

Let me give you an example.
One of my best friends is black. A family of wonderful people. Clearly middle class people.... He's a radiologist, educated person. Hi wife is a pharmacist, works for an insurance company as case worker... Their yearly income is in the 6 figures range.... they make around 200k a year.
His co-workers kept asking him why he doesn't move to West-Omaha (predominantly white and upper middle class), instead he lives in North-Omaha (predominately black and poverty stricken). The reason? Because he does not want to have his kids exposed to the bullying racism that happens in West-O... That's a reality, for which that guy in the video has no answer.
Can you fight your way out of the hoods? Yes.... But, it entirely depends on where you live too.. And the US is way too big, way to diverse to have a general answer.
If you're shit outta luck, you live in a city where things are worse.
Like Omaha, NE...... A city with a long history of racial tension... Riots and unrest for over a 100 yrs...
Such situation doesn't go away by itself in just a few decades..... The last critical situation was in 1971..
The people of Omaha know the city is still essentially a powder keg, that could blow up anytime again.

You need to update your knowledge
If you don't know Robbie Robertson, you got quite a leak there to be filled.....
The Band is music history of the important kind.

I'm not that keen on ancient music history.

Do you have anything from the era of colour TV?

You are Brit..... You not getting any, until you stop letting McCartney off that island of yours.
It gets hurtful ever more to see him, or better say to hear him.
And I say that as a Beatles fan.. But Paul became a pain to listen to....

I'm almost 100% sure you have heard The Band before, they were Bob Dylan's backing band when he first went electric and then went on to form their on thing.

He's a Scouser, if it keeps him off the heroin then we're happy to let him do what he wants.

Not really keen on Dylan, his songs always sounded better when someone else sang them.

I was just joking anyways, I'm not an Aerosmith fan but he definitely has a good voice for rock and great stage presence.

I probably have heard them, but I've almost certainly heard a Justin Beiber song as well and I wouldn't know it's one of his.
