Is it a net dps loss. Also can I see some talent trees
you might as well not even press mind blast if you glyph it. thats how much of a dps loss it is.
Junk glyph, expect blizz to remove it soon.
It's kind of good when you're a noob in BGs, since there's a lot of targets about to Mind Blast, while you focus your DP/Insanity on one guy. It gives you some pretty OP damage. If you've used all your player targets up, remember you can Mind Blast pets for the 3 orbs. 1v1 or if a fight goes on for a little while, you'll be useless, but it's pretty insane for big team fights, letting you nuke down targets pretty quick.
They should just change it to "The first time you damage an enemy in combat, your Mind Blast generates an additional 2 shadow orbs." Cooldown stays the same. Basically it just makes us start with 3 shadow orbs in a boss fight instead of 1 when casting the first MB rather than basing it off us having to use it on a different target.
CoP/AS both have there places for PvE, AS you need ~25% raid buffed crit to do decently on AoE fights, CoP is still superior on 1 target like gruul and thogar.
This glyph is awesome for leveling. Mind Blast then Insanity and mob's dead. Repeat.
Well how about this?
AS + Shadowy Insight + Mindbender + Glyph of mind harvest for beastlord
It could be a mind blast fest, bam bam bam bam
double orbs per bam
insane DP uptime
if u have 4 set, perma haste bonus, more bam bam more DP etc

If you take the glyph your use of DP while leveling will increase a LOT. Which is pretty awesome because DP heals (no downtime casting Flash Heal on yourself after chain-killing a few mobs) and DP almost one shots most mobs.
MB-DP one, DoT another, MP-DP the next, it works really well.
The glyph is awesome for leveling. But not for much else.
Glyph of MH isn't so bad for leveling / questing. Plenty of fresh targets to abuse. Most mobs die with a MB > DP > Flay.
It potentialy could be useful in raids too, but nothing in WoD so far.
Would make the glyph mandatory.
Glyph of combution allows flexibility when you want to have a short CD or a long CD. Think Blackfuse belts for instance. GoMH without a penalty is always good and there is no reason to ever not have it. See the difference?
A lot of glyphs are mandatory anyway. Some just flat out suck especially a lot of priest glyphs for Shadow.
Look at the mage glyphs and a lot of them are actually DPS increases just straight up. Icy veins glyph changes haste to MS which is a huge DPS increase BOTH ST and AoE, splitting ice greatly buffs cleave DPS, WE glyph improves movement damage, combustion glyph improves burst, cone of cold improves AoE and Arcane power glyph improves burst as well.
Mage glyphs are really poorly designed anyway, they resemble Cata glyphs.
Blizzard also wanted people to pick and choose what they wanted in talents but that isn't the case either.
