Does anybody remember the episode where Scrooge had the golden (Midas) duck (I think it was a duck) that would turn everything it touched into gold? It then started to turn the whole world into gold. Man that scared me as a kid!

Also who else what a money bin as a kid? Or was I just really shallow?

Hm...well I have all the DVD's of the show that they released. Hopefully this means the rest will be released and hoping the show will actually be as good as the original (doubtful, but hopeful). Wonder why 2017 though and not 2016 or this fall?

Doubtful that it will be anywhere near as high quality as the original, or of the same taste. If the latter, than it won't last long because let's face it: the fans of the original have moved on, and people have different tastes now.

Yea... I would be excited if it werent for the show being bad as f.. I watched the old episodes 2 weeks ago, I was hung over and decided to try it out. Managed to watch 3 episodes and after that the hangover was not the worst part

Normally I would be happy but considering our day and age, I'm pretty certain it will be utter crap. I don't remember any recent cartoon reboots that were actually good, and not garbage.

Most likely, and something I encourage to a lot more animation shows, is that they want to produce both quality and quantity. Having episodes ready to be aired without loosing quality. 2017 is a long way from now, which gives them plenty of time to start creating them from scratch, without already being in time pressure. Smart move by Disney.
