I feel like the writer of the article hangs out alot at american legions, and vfw's watching fox news.
(side note i actually bartended at a legion for a while during college mostly for the wedding reception cash but old guys would sit there and spew stuff like this and request that fox news be put on the tv, needless to say it was a dark time)

    How are dogs any different...?
Have you had any pets at all?

Funny how you can find articles that will back up your 'thinking' so easily. Given the background of the site, I'm not surprised.

As far as my thoughts on this: LOL

I just found it interesting that other people have made the same observations as me.

Actually I don't, I believe in multinational assholism.

Have you noticed similar parallels throughout your life when interacting with men and women?
Parallels to specific people, sure...but not in a sweeping generalizing way like this. There are far too many nuances between every person that anything that tries to draw a parallel to that many people, just isn't going to work because each individual will have at least one trait that doesn't fit the stereotype.

My friends cats are really calm and cute. They keep to themselves unless you start petting them then they follow you around all cutely.

That being said I prefer dogs as they're more likely to play with me and give me some sugar! My cutie loves getting her belly petted :3

I honestly have no idea where you're referring to.
'Twas a cutlass swipe or an ounce of lead
Or a yawing hole in a battered head
And the scuppers clogged with rotting red
And there they lay I damn me eyes
    All lookouts clapped on Paradise
All souls bound just contrarywise, yo ho ho and a bottle of rum!

My cats are excessively needy, loving, and even dog-like (one of mine plays fetch with a stuffed mouse toy). I find basing human gender stereotypes on pet stereotypes all sorts of stupid.

That word gets flung around way too casually.

Well, only quoting negative stereotypes for women while positive for men tend to make you look that way.

I like cats and meow at them in the alley. Does this mean I need a sex change?
