torn UCL for Brandon McCarthy, so much for his quest to compete with Cole Hamels for allowing the most homeruns ever

Game with no fans is as eerie as I expected. Funny hearing the bench yammering on about stuff while they play

lol Is that on TV somewhere? It'd be funny, if you could hear rioters in the background. Gunshots n shit. Screams.

It wasn't as weird as you'd think it would be. Got used to if after the first inning.

Cruz acquisition has been paying dividends for the Mariners. Every at bat is exciting with that guy.

Yeah Cruz has been a great pickup for the M's this season so far. It looks like the pitching is starting to come around as well. Last few starts have all been quality start from everyone. We will see if Paxton can add to that for his first win tonight.

9 inning games are averaging well under 3 hours now, the Orioles empty game was barely over 2 hours, that's the solution, no more fans, faster games.

The Dodgers let Hanley walk in free agency, he is tied with Cruz for MLB lead with 10 HR and yet the Dodgers still lead the majors in homers, bizarre.

Something like 483 feet on the last HR he crushed. Unreal.

With the pitching getting back in sync its gonna be sweet. If Kuma comes back from DL and pitches well then he can take Paxton's spot if he chokes this start.

Arod hits 660, in boston, with everyone booing him his entire at bat, and the entire stadium just went like deathly quiet as soon as he hit it, it was honestly pretty funny.

Good for him, steroids can't make you connect with the ball the right way, him and barry are both first ballot hof to me.

Joc hit a grand slam and I missed it, dang, he's at 5 HR 14 RBI in 22 games with an OPS just under 1100. He was second to Bryant in spring homers and he's been keeping it up since the season started. Good thing he never had to go down to the minors and was able to keep in rhythm. Justin Turner is right where he left off last year, how did the Mets let him get away? Ethier was supposed to be the 4th/5th outfielder and he is killing it, Crawford can stay injured forever if he wants to (he probably will any way). Only Rollins is slumping.

That's what I'm used to, the Dodgers have generally been one of those teams that can get shutout on eleven hits, yesterday they scored 8 runs on 6 hits, its been a different story this season so far.

Justin Turned speculated that the ball is carrying more at night because of the lack of moisture in the air, hooray drought.

Lomo swapped to Nelson Cruz's bat, instantly starts hitting like a major level player.

Somebody get that bat to pee in a cup.

It's just fucking annoying that no matter who they get, they turn out to be stars. Matt Carpenter was a 13th round pick, Matt Adams was a 23rd round pick.

Haha, How is that annoying? That just shows that money doesn't buy you a championship. Cardinals are ranked like #9 or #10 for team salery. Can't hate a team just because they are good. That's stupid haha

A lot of teams don't spend ridiculous amounts of money on payroll. How many of them are consistently as good as the Cardinals are?
