Gearing Advice

I've recently made the switch from Frost to Unholy. My dps is a little low, but from what I can tell with comparing parses with top players it's simply a gear issue. I still have a lot of haste from Frost gearing and my mastery is incredibly low.

Which brings me to my question: above is a link to my armory and as you can see I have 4 piece. Until my mastery level is higher, would it be better to forego the 4p (namely the gloves) in favor of other options that favor mastery? I also understand that multistrike is still the stat to gear for, but I suspect that my dps issues are largely in part to my mastery being so low.

As I said, they are low especially on AoE. The point in bringing up the comparison is ability use, uptime, and damage percentage, which on a few fights seems to be about where it should be. And there is not a lot to pick from there because I recently server transferred and name changed. I've only been unholy for about a week and all of the logs on previous character are Frost, so doesn't really help here.

Don't blame it on the gear. I have ~30% mastery unbuffed, and still manage 90%+ logs on fights like Iron Maidens, Oregorger etc, using UB/NP.

The point of the post was not to blame gear just looking for a little guidance. If we're similar ilvl then great, tips would be appreciated. New to the spec and am looking for ways to gear and play optimally.

My ilvl is 685.
Just play like you would play with optimal gearing. UB/NP is still very strong on add-fights, but it is also on fights like those, that it goes to show that my secondaries are off. Those logs are significantly worse than single-target or cleave ones.

Most of my logs are bad and/or progressions logs - dying in the fight and such, but you can take a look at this:

Those are pretty representative of what numbers should be looking like, I believe. (Except for SR uptime on Iron Maidens, that sucked, because of certain things - chasing Admiral for once).

As you can see, compared to other DK's with more mastery, my NP, SR and shadow damage in general hits like wet noodles.

Here's some updated logs from tonight. Overall, not a bad increase for me. Upped my mastery and ms quite a bit, and overall not bad performance. Gruul was a wash because I mistimed BoS with slice and haven't really gotten used to the play style. Operator is still crazy low and I'm trying to tweak and figure out why. My oreg fight is the best of the lot, but I'm curious to see how BoS works on that fight once I get used to it.

Anyways, same as before, tips and input are definitely welcome.
