Gear swapping

Hello!

With the changes of how gear works when you swap into a new spec, I've found it easier to swap from feral druid to play resto, or even balance.

However I did find out that trinkets, necklaces and rings don't swap stats like other pieces of gear does.
Am I the only one who found this strange?
And is there any reasoning behind this?

These are the slots that can have spirit or bonus armor on them. Thats the only thing i could think of. Also weapon, rings, neck, cape are the ones that can be enchanted.
