    Mythic Operator Thogar Tips?

Hey guys, My guild is about to start some progression on thogar this coming week. After browsing through the forums i see no threads.
So i was wondering if anyone that has killed it or is currently working on it has any tips or tricks for this fight. It seems like it is all about positioning.
    Any info is a help!

    Thanks in advance!

Do not split. The mobs from the other side will be thrown over to you by the train that hits them. Have all your raid go to one side, and spread out as much as possible. The guys on the other side will shoot the raid for a moderate amount of damage that splashes. It's not dangerous unless you stack up.

Use gateways + roars to get through deforesters. Never get more than one stack and the healing on these is inconsequential.

Learn the pattern of the fight, and how you're going to perform ii, well in advance as the raid leader and communicate it to your raid using marks and clear calls. Do not rely on an addon to do this for you, because the addon's do not take add and grenade positioning into account--you do.

Finally, the Man-at-arms is by far the most dangerous add. Time CDs to kill these quickly. The most HPS intensive moment in the fight is when you do the second split, as you will be getting hit by the adds from the other side + the man at arms after having just run through a deforester ~20 seconds ago. Plan healer CDs for this and you'll be fine.

Get rid of any "thogar helper" or "thogar assist" style addons as reliance on these will cause many wipes. Everyone should know where they are and where they are moving to at what time.

Have a few melee rotate interrupts on the flamecaller add when it is up. You -can- simply let it cast and dispel the man-at-arms instantly, which is more efficient as the cast takes 20% of its health off, but we at least found interrupting to work out better.

Regarding the split. If you have a monk tank he can go to one side by himself and kite the adds and then port to his statue with the raid right before the train hits. Your raid won't take any damage and won't need to spread out for the split if done this way.

Always have a savage roar or a warlock portal for deforestors if possible. Deforestors are the most healing intense part of the fight. We also use aspect of the fox so healers can keep people up. Holy pally can save bubble for a double deforestors to spam heal the raid. Everyone should use personals for these.

When the man of war is out, make sure you LET the spell cast by the other mob go off. It does a significant amount of damage and you can just purge it off of the man at arms so it doesn't heal him. That spell will do more damage to him than any of your raiders can hope to do.
