WoW Datacenters: Now all in L.A.?

Upon considerations of moving my character back to a Chicago datacenter I found that when I tracert/pathping L.A. and Chicago datacenters - they both appear now to have been combined in L.A. only.

When pathing those two IPs (and doing IPglobal locations) they both show L.A. and with the exact same hops. The IPs are also listed on Blizzards website as the same that's listed on the Wiki.

Can anyone confirm, too?

The routes do appear the same, but my in-game latency on the Chicago servers (they are closer) is still about half of what it is to the LA servers.
