Follower with Treasure Hunter + Scavenger

[Mission]

I noticed today that one of my followers that had the Treasure Hunter trait and when it hit lvl 100 it also gained the Scavenger trait, woot!

Anyone else got one like it ?

I have a scavenger with epic mount though.

My harrison jones has extra training and I use it with another follower who has extra training and hearthstone pro, 95% more xp for fast leveling. :P


The best would be Scav, Treasure, Epic mount

I had one or two followers with that combination, but rerolled them.
I'd rather have:
One team that can do all the raid missions, bonus roll stuff etc 100% no matter what. The A-team.
A set of followers that can do all the possible GR-missions 100% while having the max amount of scavengers on each mission. I think you need 4 or 5 followers to achieve this.

The rest can stack treasure hunter with all kinds of other traits like racial traits, epic mount, burst of power etc. Not only do I want them to do all the normal gold missions with 100% chance and maximum amount of treasure hunting, I also want them to blend in to my raid missions every now and then, so they can increase those 1k gold rewards for mythic raid missions. Todays Mythic cache mission had 100% chance and gave 3k gold on top of that instead of the usual 1k.

Followers that combine treasure hunter and scavenger are very unlikely to blend into your raid missions while keeping the success chance at 100%.

Really want Treasure Hunter on Garona though, would be so sick. Get Blook in on that action too.

i have a couple followers that have epic mount + treasure hunter and scavenger. unfortunately garona cant do that but she came with epic mount and scavenger at least so theres something to be happy about.

I have a dozen or so of those across my 12 toons. One harrison jones proc'ed scavenger as well as 3rd trait.

I have 3 with treasure hunter, scavenger and epic mount. Garrison RNG has loved me ever since 6.1 and those reroll tokens came out from that vendor.

Yesterday after reset, one of my 100's got 2 level 90 blue quality with scavengers to choose from out of the 3 from the inn. Then I noticed one of those two had treasure hunter as well. Score!

I have one or two other random ones on one character or another, but not many.

I've so far recruited 2 followers from the Inn (1 on each of 2 different characters) that have come as a lvl 90 rare quality with both Treasure hunter & scavenger. The first one I got didn't get anything really useful as their 3rd trait upon hitting epic, and I'm still leveling up the 2nd one I got. Crossing my fingers that they'll end up with TH, scav, epic mount.

My blue follower had treasure hunter, and then got epic mount on it. Thats great combo.

People made a good point, kind of pointless to have those two on there. One rewards gold, one rewards GR but never both, so it defeats the purpose tbh.

Main issue I have is the counters.

Eg.
Many GR missions require counters for Group Damage, Massive strike, Magic Debuff, Minion Swarms
Many gold missions require counters for Wild Aggression, Powerfull Spell, Deadly Minions, Minion Swarms

So Minion swarms is one of the go to counters for the TH/Scav combo.

Well, I chose a treasure hunter in my inn for this week. Leveled up him to 100 blue pretty fast and guess what? He proc'd Scavenger lol

Now just need epic mount and that will be great!

Yea, my Scav+TH had lame abilities and it repeated with someone else I had. Rerolled it and got Wild Aggression and Massive strike, so that's pretty good.

But I agree, what else would be good in place of Scavenger besides epic mount and TH? So double them up is great.



I just need the mythic mission + 1k now lol but I haven't set foot in mythic. So just have to get that 500g mission to get 2k.

My DK's Soulbinder Tuulani has Scavenger and Treasure Hunter, my only one so far.

I have some with both treasure and scavenger on them. I like them because while you can't run both mission types at once, if you check and run missions 2-3 times a day like I do, you do run out of treasure missions pretty fast. Only a handful of those proc per day. When you aren't running treasures, send them on resource missions, and then by the time that's done, a treasure or two will have popped again.

It'd be better to have them separate anyway, as AFAIK there's no mission with both GR and gold as a reward.

Running missions only twice a day I find that I, occasionally, have more treasure hunter followers than I do slots for gold missions. Having a follower that can do both GR missions AND gold missions isn't necessarily a bad thing.
