Garrison Raid Missions = Crap!

I don't know if it is just me or it's just crappy luck, but these missions both highmaul mythic ones and BRF Mythic ones are no good for me, they almost always give me something useless. I'm Ele so I favor Multistrike, Haste, and Crit, but i receive versatility/mastery mythic gloves from brf cache. Yes I understand its a mail piece so its automatically on my loot table but these missions were "supposed" to help with upgrades for people who cant necessarily do the content at the moment or just won't so they can stay relevant to an extent. But I'm sorry this Expansion secondary stats outweigh the 30~ int I would get for replacing the piece with the mythic piece from cache. I am pretty much heroic BiS besides 1 or two items one being the micron trinket from Blackhand which would obviously be nice from cache but thats a huge if with the way they work. Both highmaul and BRF missions combined I have gotten maybe 2 pieces that I could "use" not necessarily good but upgrades and thats only if I swap out a different piece of gear for another from the instance that i don't have. I have had to Disenchant the rest for Temporal Crystals which is highly frustrating because if thats the case just give us a mission for a temporal crystal each week. They need to redesign the way the system works to prioritize Itemization. And don't tell me they cant because they can, they are the ones who implement the priority in the first place. Every class has their stat weights, some similar but not all so in no way it would not be unfair. They absolutely need to be rethought out. This is quite absurd. Gear doesnt make the player, Im good regardless, but I mean if im going to try and get an upgrade or actually wait for it to spawn every two weeks I want to feel like the wait was worth it. And to be clear it's even more frustrating because of the time I put in to get the right followers for 100% on all missions, and the fact I have NEVER failed one to date since they started. Honestly at this point I would rather them fail and get nothing because essentially thats what I'm getting. And also Yes they could bring back reforging but regardless a piece with Vers/Mastery would still be garbage even if i reforged the vers for multi. Honestly either make Primaries more import and more valuable or just remove secondarys in general.

It is just RNG....The wait is worth it, it is every 2 weeks and classify it as a Free Bonus Roll almost... every 2 weeks.

The items are Not guaranteed as am upgrade, same way each boss and week killed... never know what will drop... and if it is any good.

I go in on my alt, Lock and guess what, gun drops LOL

Caches ALL from the start to now, Mythic and Heroic have Never yet given me any upgrades, it is items I do not need... thats just pure bad luck so far.

Stop complaining, getting possible BiS gear from a source other than raiding is benefit enough. You are basically getting free epics for clicking a few buttons a few times a day.

I'm sort of glad they made it so you can't get tier and weapons via cache, and honestly I wouldn't be sad if there wasn't a cache next tier. Raid gear should come from raiding. Right now garrisons feel far too mandatory, making an alt and having to gear up 20-25 followers to ilevel 700+, or whatever it'll be in 6.2/6.3, would be extremely tedious and time consuming.

5 heroic kills, 4 mythic kills, 3 hunters rolling each week. Finally got our first gun this week. 6 heroic, 2 mythic blast furnace kills, same situation, no crossbow dropped or rolled for any of us.

As somebody who is also particularly unlucky in that regard I am still pretty sure the intention wasn't supposed to hand out guaranteed bis pieces.

Mythic hands with socket (need the legs tier to wear them - refuse to break four set)
Mythic trinket with leech (I use it on fights that I don't have mana issues - I did the cache as shadow to hope for a non-spirit trinket that I wouldn't have to take away from dps)
Mythic cloak (haste/spirit - I wear this)

Three BRF caches - never used the first, second is for farm and short fights, third is the first normally equipped item. Appears to be working as intended.

Ehh. I tend to think of the garrison missions as the replacement for valor gear and/or valor upgrades. While sure, it's 'free', its presence in the game comes at the cost of those other systems being in place. I preferred valor upgrades of all of them.

Considering I've gotten drops from Mythic Imperator and Mythic Blackhand previously (basically stuff you'd never get otherwise unless the end boss was on farm) this current system works fine for me.

Why do some people feel the need to make a thread whenever they have bad RNG ? Its happened to all of us. We've all been unlucky at one time or another. I never felt the need to make a topic when my alt's 98% Mythic HM mission failed, I just GRRRed at the screen a bit and moved on, understanding that there was a small chance for this to happen.

Also, if you press enter once in awhile, your long post will be a lot more readable and I would've actually read all of it .

It's RNG bro. On my warrior's very first raid mission I got a warforged trink with Crit and Bonus Armor...the top 2 stats for gladiator warriors, which mine is. Doesn't mean my next raid mission isn't gonna give me something with Mastery and Versatility.

This my friends, is what the current mmo generation has become... Crying over free EPICS regardless if you can use them or not, you're getting them for free. What more do you want? Jesus christ, people will cry about anything now. This is why MMO's are slowly dying... It has become alllll about the loot and how easy it is to obtain. No more longevity in them Its a crying shame.

i think it speaks more to the culture of social media. everyone thinks they have a voice now that needs to be heard and that their opinion is worth a damn. This in itself has impacted many communities, and MMO communities especially because in this community sometimes kicking up a stink has resulted in changes to the game.

There's no need to fix what isn't broken. The missions should absolutely NOT prioritize optimal stats.

Once again, the missions are not designed as an efficient "catch up" mechanic nor are they supposed to give you clear upgrades every time. It's the same thing as beating a boss, only better. With the missions (assuming a 100% success rate) you are guaranteed a drop suitable but not necessarily optimal for your class and spec. With a boss there is still a chance that the gear that drops won't even be equipable.

This is a mechanic that never existed before, one that guarantees a loot drop every two weeks and you're complaining about it? Really?
