Deep Freeze & Counterspell casting animation looks wrong?

DF & CS has always had a "direct" animation, but as of WoD they're using the "indirect" animation, same as Arcane Intellect, which to me feels incredibly wrong.

I can't believe they actually pruned our cast animations aswell :/
Doesn't it bother you that they changed their spell animations for the first time ever? (Afaik)
