So, on my course one of the girls has recently (we think, we don't know how long for exactly) started a relationship with our lecturer. They're both consenting adults (18+), so age isn't an issue. My problem with this is the fact that it's having an impact on her grades, in a positive way.
She was due to fail one of her assignments, and the lecturer she's having a relationship with actually graded her higher than deserved. Understandably this annoys me, because while the rest of us work hard and put in a lot of effort, this particular student is obviously being given preferential treatment.
Now I'm conflicted on what to do, they're both great people, don't get me wrong. I would hate for our lecturer to lose his job (potentially) or for her to be expelled in the final year of our course. However, I feel pretty irate about the whole grading higher thing.. I'm not sure what to do.
So, my question is, would you tell someone or not?
*I'd just like to point out, we have seen them being "intimate" together, while drinking and sober when we're out at the local bar etc, so it's not just a "feeling of something going on" >.<
