AFAIK, clarity of will and shields work; so put them on your tank, the way blizzard go around it is that even if your tank takes 0 damage from the ability it has a minimum damage, as you noted when done with immunities.

Absorbs don't count as mitigation for the breath, so you'd be better off just shielding the raid.

Surely Guard/Death Strike/Shield Barrier do work, why not then from an outside source?

Absorbs DO work. Nice guide btw. In my guild we send him on a scripted way on phase 2 works well too.

Absorbs definitely work in reducing the raid damage that Acid Torrent does. However, there is a baseline minimum amount of damage the Acid Torrent will do regardless of mitigation, so eventually the marginal return of an absorb is 0. Perhaps that is where you were mistaken.

You should remove the word "visual" from the titles. When I read visual I don't really want a big wall of text to read through on a guide, I expected things like pictures that explain tactics.

Thanks for sharing! Your guild site is so polished and well put together! I prefer to read a guide with detailed photos as opposed to sinking 7-8 mins on a youtube vid and rewinding for relevant points. Good luck with progression -- I hope you guys catapult to 4/10M+ so that I can sneak a few more tips from you!

Very nice guide there! And impressive guild site

Thought these might be useful for people reading this thread looking for help:

I made a very short video showing a perfect way to handle the roll phase:

(Read the video description for a detailed breakdown of each roll)

And you can see it in action in my guild's kill video:

Too much visual noise on that page and your pictures aren't clear at all.

Yeah there is too much going on. What helped us kill it really fast is this:

Took a handful of tries and has all info you need.

Man you guy's like to over complicate a simple fight :/ There comes a point were having a strict plan for phase 2 is going to be unhelpful and it's better just understanding the rolls and HOW you can avoid at each intersection.
