US Cops are at it again

Enough is enough. It's time for federal legislation to overhaul all law enforcement organisations. This is completely unacceptable.

    Rule # 1: Obey the f****** Law!
Rule # 2: Don't leave home in case cops are in a bad mood (?)
    Rule # 3: Be white. Still, follow # 2.

  3. #3
Sad stuff. I wonder how you guys put up with this kind of shit.

    It's just a white guy, it's A-OK.

(no, but really, what the fuck America)
Deathknight's do it using disease, blood and the power of the unholy. Warlocks do it with dark demons by their side. Mages do it with summoned arcane powers. Druids do it using the forces of nature. Rogues do it through stealth, poison's, shadows and....from behind. Paladins do it by calling to the light for aid. Shamans do it with the help of the elements. Priests do it through the holy light.
    But warriors....
    Warriors just fucking do it.

The worst part is that once he was down and tazed. He threw his hands behind his back. He was ready to comply with the officers. And then they decided to beat the ever living crap out of him.

I think most people don't feel like they have much power over the political future of the country. Also, I think having a strict two party political system detracts from the ability to vote on issues specifically.

It makes you wonder, like, by now you'd think even stupid cops like this would realize they have a bad image, why not try to help prevent that?

  8. #8
Oooh an "investigation" done by the people who are accused of the crime. Surely no bias can come from this?

Honestly the thing that bothers me the most is how many of these guys joined in. It's hard to say a PD has "just a few bad apples" when nearly a dozen of them gang beat an incapacitated suspect.

Because half the time they get away with it anyway. In the Garner case a cop used a prohibited tactic and killed a man, then he walked away without a slap on the wrist.

I know right. My thought when the sheriff was talking was, "why on earth would anyone from the department be involved in the investigation at all?"

It seems like you didn't watch the video. He didn't get shot. He got gang beat, and there was literally no sign of physical resistance. He was face down with his hands behind his back before the first blow.

I agree that the violence is disproportionate, but you never, ever, have issues like this where the person was not resisting arrest under bright light.

In my opinion, you resist arrest and you get what you deserve, regardless what it is.

So you want to live in a society where cops are allowed to do whatever they want to people who resist in the slightest? Yeah no thanks I'll pass.

Honestly I think the problem is they think they're justified. I think these problems are systemic.

I've already seen too many examples of this to think that it's the slightest bit fair. But I don't think the police brutality in a country like the USA can stand for very long in the state it is right now. I hope people will take a stance on it soon.

This is true without a doubt. But while people are still breaking the law, they should still be treated as human beings. A person could be in a low point in their life and result to theft or what have you. They shouldn't be taken down and beat the crap out of by a bunch of men.

In this case, the guy was trying to get away, but once they caught him, he put his hands behind his back immediately. He knew he was caught and was ready to face what was coming to him. I don't think he expected to be pounded into the dirt though.

There was a guy recently though who like, apparently was pulled over because his tail light was out, and he tried to run for some reason when the cop walked away, and then the cop shot him in the back and killed him.

Still wondering why he ran though, the news doesn't seem to want to tell why.

Except that we don't have a two party system. We have a multi-party system, but the two main parties have been in power long enough to stack the odds in their favor. It's justified by saying that they're trying to keep out all the crazy one-man-party things, but they've set the thresholds far higher than necessary to prevent that.
