That's just bad parenting on your brothers part. Theres no reason they should act like that - they are old enough to know better - so the blame falls on your brother and the kids mother.

Could well be although my sister-in-law is a child care specialist dealing mostly with aspergers children so she knows how to get results from kids and tbf when at home my nephews are lovely but as soon as their parents aren't around...fuck no
That's pretty much how all children I have interaction with are these days. little kids at the skatepark telling people to fuck off and throwing stones / bottles, 3 people I know who took up teaching either primary or secondary because they wanted to actually make a difference had to quit their jobs because there is no way to make a child who wants to disrupt the class not do so, heaven forbid actually trying to get them to learn something. Other day whilst out flying at a local park there was a school team practicing rugby and one of the coaches had to stop one of the lads fighting another only for both to try attacking the coach and claiming they knew their rights and he couldn't touch them that way. Kids these days just need to be shot even if that does mean the end of humanity :/

I don't mind kids as long as they don't scream and have a fit over little things like lying on the floor of a shopping aisle throwing a tantrum cause their parents won't get them a candy bar.

well it's pretty clear that you don't. there is no magic word to make them shut up. you can try as much as you want to make them quiet but they won't be quiet unless they decide to.

i don't have children of my own but my sister's kid is just hell to deal with. first thing she does when i pick her up from her aunt is just start boohooing for the next 10 minutes straight. then when we get home and i give her some goldfish crackers and put on some cartoons she starts crying because the cartoons went off and i hadn't clicked on a new one yet. after that she starts boohooing at the top of her lungs because for 20 minutes i couldn't understand she was saying that she had to pee because she was crying the entire time and saying "dee". just nevermind the fact that she knows how to open doors, knows where the bathroom is and can pee by herself.
