<Gear Grind>, US-Aerie-Peak Alliance

We are looking for a few more players to expand our Mythic roster. For healers, our first preference is a Holy Paladin. Our DPS preferences are:

  • Boomkin/Warlock/Shaman/Monk: High
  • Mage/Rogue: Medium
  • Priest/Feral: Low

Exceptional players are encouraged to apply even if your class isn't listed above - we will still take a highly skilled Warrior or DK before a mediocre Warlock.

Raid Times: Sat/Sun 5-8 PST (8-11 EST). Our hours are light, but our goal is still to push Mythic content in the time we have. If you're serious about raiding, but don't have the time to do it 4 nights a week, we may be the right guild for you.

What are we looking for in players?

  • Mythic raider mentality. When we're ready to try a new boss, do you watch guides and kill videos so you already know the fight when you show up? Have you tweaked your UI so that it's perfect for raiding? Are you always looking for ways to improve your performance?
  • Personal responsibility. If you are assigned "Interrupt #3", can we rely on you to do it? Can you move out of fire on your own, without someone having to say your name in Mumble?
  • Attendance & commitment. Even an amazing player is useless for progression if they only show up half the time. Given our light hours, can we expect you to consistently attend raids?

If you answered yes to the above questions, we want to recruit you! We do cross-realm trials in Heroic, and successful applicants are quickly offered a raid spot.

What is raiding with us like?

Our attitude is semi-hardcore. On the one hand, we know how to have fun and like to joke around in Mumble during trash. On the other hand, bosses are serious time. Mistakes will be called out. Raiders who perform poorly will be expected to improve or get benched. There is never any rage in Mumble, but the ability to handle constructive criticism is a definitely asset.

If you'd like more information, I'm Taric, and you can reach me on BattleTag at Wonton#1401, or add our Raid Leader at Comedy#1493.
