Triple display on R9 290x, is my system fit?

    Heya community,

I was thinking about buying a 3rd screen and play WoW across 3 screens.
Atm I have a 2nd display hooked up but only play the game on 1.
Is my system fit enough to support playing WoW on 3 monitors with acceptable fps? I'm questioning the PSU's power...

    Sapphire R9 290 4GB GDDR5 OC TRI-X
    Crucial Ballistix Sport 8gb
    Crucial SSD MX100 512GB
    Intel Core i7 4770K
    Seasonic M12II Evo 520W
    Gigabyte G1.Sniper Z97
    Scythe Mugen 4 PCGH Edition
    1x Iiyama ProLite GB2488HSU-B1, 144hz screen
1x Iiyama ProLite E2483HS-B1 (and adding another of these as 3rd)

    Thanks in advance!

At quick glance I'd say no (seeing your PSU is only 520w); better use a PSU online calculator like this one:

In my opinion, always have some +100w headroom to your PSU so that you have the option of adding more stuff (like GPUs or the ability to Overclock your CPU.)

Also 8gb RAM nowadays is too low but it's entirely up to you to add more RAM.

I'm happy to help to test paladin-related stuff. I have 6 Ret pallies.

Also currently playing: S4 HC Crusader @ Diablo 3: RoS and SC2: Legacy of the Void

Against recommended minimum requirements, yes it does run perfectly for almost a year now.

Thanks for the reply! That test indeed shows my PSU is quite at it's max indeed.
    Would a 750W settle it?

(haven't encountered any RAM issues so far, was thinking of adding more next year).

    Cheers.

I'd say try it first before buying new components. I don't know the limit at which the OPP would trip but it's very unlikely with a single GPU set up with a 500W PSU. Also PSU calculators are terribad...

Alright, thank you both for the advice.
I've ordered the 3rd screen, if I get it tomorrow I'll give a heads up on how it went :-)

Do you want to buy a new 290x? Or do you already have one?

Because I really don't get all the PSU's questions if all the OP does is getting an extra monitor.... Which to me it seems he is doing.

I already have a 290x. I was asking if the rest of my system will be able to run games played in Eyefinity (stuff like far cry 4, or bf4 on decent fps and settings). It runs these games fine with 70+ on ultra with one screen, but is it enough for 3.

Black screens once I plug in the 3rd. Do I need to enable eyefinity before I plug in the 3rd? I'm using 2x DVI and Displayport for the main/middle.
