I love that Batman has just gone full bore on the "scary Bat-voice", in that he actually has Scary Bat-Voice modulator on his suit.

I like that the consequences of Man of Steel are spiraling out beyond Superman's control. The soldiers (?) bowing to him is a chilling and effective visual. Man of Steel was great, and assuming Zack Snyder doesn't get bogged down in horrible "franchising" - which is possible, as this movie is set to feature plenty of Justice League superpeople - it should go well.

The Robo Batman voice will help a lot. So long as he's an ok Bruce Wayne, which I reckon he could pull off, the Robo Bat voice pretty much makes him a body in a suit while he's Batman.

I think my issue is more that they are going for an older Bruce Wayne-Batman but Ben has aged pretty well that he doesn't look old enough to me. I do agree that the voice modulator will help.

Watched it, but still not impressed with it. Didn't like Man of Steel so I have low hopes going into it. I'll watch it and give it a chance, but even after seeing the trailer I'm still not expecting much. =/

Not a big Supes fan but I really hate when people toss this line out. Yeah, Superman has killed (generally people his strength/toughness *Zod*) but he doesn't just kill indiscriminately and more likely wouldn't. That's pretty much what Batman counts on and takes advantage of.

I always hated Dark Knight Returns style Batman, seeing what appears to be a robo Dark Knight Returns style Batman appear has me a little wary. Since this is the launching pad for Justice League, you can be more then pretty sure it will end with them shaking hands, you know it will end with them shaking hands.

Superman abhors killing, having to kill Zod was incredibly hard. Superman just flat out does not kill. I know there are exceptions, but Superman would just not ever kill Batman, unless Batman was acually in the process of killing an innocent human being, and Superman had no other options.

Think of Batman as like the Joker without the murdering. Superman is superior in every physical way. Batman is crafty, smart, and willing to deploy tricks and misdirection to achieve his goals in ways that Superman just can't see. Don't count Batman out, just don't hold your breath thinking that Batman will resolve this conflict by getting into a fist fight with Superman.
