Pretty shit Direct to be honest. The only game that was new was Mario Tennis Aces. Everything else was either ports or remasters of existing games or DLC.

Seems like Nintendo is going to have a weak first half, although I'll still get playtime out of my Switch as Owlboy and Hollow Knight are coming soon. Let's hope they kill it at E3.

Also, this isn't specific to Nintendo but it kinda sucks how weak this Spring is in terms of video games. I wasn't expecting an amazing Spring like 2017 but still. I feel like we're going to be overrun with games in the Fall.

Happy to see a Switch version of Hyrule Warriors. Played and beat the WiiU version, including all of the adventure mode maps, but avoided the 3DS version due to the lower graphical quality. Was miffed that the inferior version was receiving so many exclusive updates, but with all of them built into the switch version, I might be able to justify the price tag.

Tennis might be great since its being made by the Golden Sun folks. The golf/tennis rpgs on gameboy were actually really great. If people like Golf Story this should be up their alley.

I don't look forward to too many remasters, I want new games from nintendo :/. Already got those games. Only thing I'm looking forward now is SMT and the Yoshi Game. Maybe Bayonetta 3.

To be fair, wii u games sold like shit compared to other systems. They probably want an actual return of investments

But lets not pretend some of the wii u games were comeplete shit and that's the reason why it sold poorly, the wii u had a 13mill playerbase, mario tennis being on the wiiu was not the reason it sold poorly, it sold poorly because it was a bare bones mario tennis game and porting a bare bones game to the switch isn't gonna make it sell.

Unless they provide proof that they fixed it besides a story mode that'll probably last 2 hours then it'll go in the trash like the wiiu version.

Wii u was a shrodingers console. We'll never know the real reason why it was the biggest flop in modern console history. Maybe the games, maybe not
