Question WF goes to MH or OH?

    Hey there,

I'm getting to see more and more people who use their warforged 1H weapons in their offhand when a pair of same weapons exists, however I couldn't find any clue to this sofar.

Could you explain a bit why is that better?

Wild strike is based on your offhand weapon damage. Higher offhand weapon damage = bigger wild strikes which is a large part of your total damage. Since fury damage is so inconsistent due to RNG, it's probably not gonna make that much of a difference how you equip them unless you have two weapons that are really far apart in ilvl.

People who put the higher ilvl in offhand are trading some execute damage for more wild strike damage. Whether it's better or not will ultimately depend on your RNG with sudden death, bloodsurge procs and criticals of the two.

The general rule is: If you use the Furious Strikes talent put your higher ilvl weapon in your OH. If you use the Sudden Death talent put your higher ilvl weapon in your MH.
Even if you use FS you should switch weapons at <20%.

Then again, it also depends on gear. So ideally you should sim yourself!

What about swapping it from off hand to main hand when you enter a decent execute phase. It's only one global

Not even a full GCD if you do it right after you use an ability, it just resets that GCD.
