Whenever people bring up America being a Christian nation I always laugh as it was founded by flouting a number of proscriptions from the bible - Matthew 22:21 Jesus said "Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's; and to God the things that are God's." Romans 13:1 "Let every person be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God and those which exist are established by God."

If fundies really want America to be a Christian nation so bad they better start paying back-taxes and submitting to the authority of the Queen.

Christianity was really tiny at the start, the big thing that was holding them back was that men didn't want to be circumcised. The first Christian council, supposedly James Jesus' brother attended, they decided that they would allow uncircumcised men to become Christians.

A lot Christians are also obsessed with the sins of others than their own. Screw "Judge not lest ye be not judged" I guess.

Satan did this to their GoFundMe campaign?

I knew there was a reason I sacrificed virgins to that guy. Satan, getting more results than God since 0AD.

She’s the baker who loves making wedding cakes so much that she just couldn’t allow herself to disrespect her fondant and piping bag by baking a cake for a gay couple.
She's psycho, and a religious hypocrite - "thou shalt not worship false idols".

It's a confusing subject but some are directly referred to in the New Testament and, some denominations cite that the 10 Commandments are the exception to the rule of the Old Testament laws not applying due to how integral to morality they are held as being.

Small side effect of being told to be celibate until after marriage, and even then only for children.

Did she make cakes for straight weddings where couples lived in sin, divorcees, or kids conceived out of wedlock? Does she know that freedom of religion include other religions or an absence of it?
