I was hoping that they would eventually divorce this horrid achievement from the meta already. I don't care if something else gets put in it's place. And they updated other holidays recently and still left this untouched?

If it was simply "have your orphan out so they witness it being done" and the actual thing could be done by someone nearby on your team, fine.

But as is, meh.

Capture the flag in Eye of the Storm - This in my opinion is the most tricky, straight forward nonetheless.

Assault a flag in Arathi Basin - First flag on stables or farm is your best bet, otherwise, during an AB game, flags change sides a lot, especially on this one, keep at it :/ still not hard as much as flag in EoTS during this holiday.

Assault a tower in Alterac Valley - Probably the easiest one by far. Backtrack and find an opposite faction tower and go grab it(go to the farthest, down/up the map from your base as the competition wouldn't be that bad there.

Return a fallen flag in Warsong Gulch - SPAM click!!!!

haha epic, achievements in involving pvp are always much harder than pve since you're against other players, step well clear if you can't handle failure.

I got this done ages ago. While it may not be the best designed, nor the easiest, it was pretty simple to get done. Not every achievement should be easy. After all, it is an achievement :P

I can't really understand why you call him arrogant... some part of the achievements in the holidays should be challenging or everyone will roflstomp it in 1 day and won’t participate in the event for the remainder of it being active.

Because PvE players might not like PvP? I mean, if it was only 1 BG then sure, but this is 4 BGs.

You're not the only one trying to get that flag too. On top of that with PvE gear you won't go very far.

It's not hard, it's stupid and frustrating.

True, it is 4 BGs but once you finish the criteria, you're free to leave. PVE gear gets bumped up to a reasonable level 650 or so in PVP (correct me if I am wrong) but considering so many PVE players trying to do this, gear won't be an issue.

This is a walk in the park compared to this With a Little Helper from My Friends well, before Ashran, WG and TB

LOL I like comments "Entire game has gone casual, yet this is so hard to remove? Not everyone loves PvP..." so much. What about opinion of PvPers? I'm sure some of them don't like PVE but there's only 284 out of 2420 PVP achievemnts. How about removing ~2100 achievements just because some PVPer don't like PVE?

If you wan't something so badly - work for it (it's not so hard really).
If you don't like it - don't do it. There's 200+ other mounts ingame. Nothing bad will happen if you miss one single mount.

Oh my sweet Mother Mary, 4 whole BGs. That must be a soul-crushing experience. Probably as soul-crushing as your desire to get that achievement without actually doing the things that it requires.

Personally, I think they should just let you select the achievements you want from a drop-down menu. That way no one has to do anything they don't want to do to get a little pop-up that tells them they accomplished something they didn't really want to accomplish in the first place.

You're playing a role-playing game, some things are supposed to take multiple attempts to accomplish. You don't need the achievement, you want it.

Do the things that you need to do to get the achievement you want so badly.

If this is the only achievement you haven't been able to do for years, why not level an alt to an appropriate lvl (according to wowhead, you can do EoTS at lvl 15 now, AV at 20. Not sure if a lvl 20 AV would ever open~), giving him the best heirlooms/engineering goggles/quest rewards etc. and sending him in there? I didn't do it that way, but I think it should be much easier for a massively overgeared toon in a low bg. Get some ppl to do it with you if necessary

It really isn't that hard to do these even with PvE gear. It's not like they ask you to do that then win or get 20 killing blows in each of those matches.

No, you want it because you want the meta achievement. You want the meta achievement because you want the mount. You don't need any of the things in that statement.

It being an RPG has plenty to do with it - RPGs are based on the assumption that you are slowly developing a character whom you are directly assuming control over.

In this case, your character has slow reflexes and an inability to capture control points or pick up flag-shaped objects.
