I consider myself a heroic raider. My guild cleared Heroic, and working on Mythic now (1/10M). Until we are above half way we aren't "Mythic Raiders".
LFR Raider nowadays because I can't be bothered dealing with jackasses in Premade Finder and I don't have enough time to commit to a schedule that feels like a part-time job.
How can people seriously argue that LFR is NOT a single player mode? You require no organization, no coordination, nothing.. you queue up, you join, you shoot a few spells and alas, boss is dead.
LFR is single player with possible co-op... but it is NOT organized raiding.
You can AFK through NM and HM too. The LFR players just lack the coordination or desire to punish you for it most of the time, whereas NM and HM, not so much.

Because 25 > 1?
You can say it's not ORGANISED raiding sure. Probably true of most NM pugs as well.
I think there's a culture clash here with some people reading too much into the word "raiding".
Pretend the original question was "What level of raiding content are you currently engaged in?" I imagine the results would be about the same. There, that solves that messy business. Too bad words don't have literal meanings, a lot of arguments could be avoided.
Kinda funny to hear people who are 2/10 mythic at this point considering themselves awesome mythic raiders.
Normal raider, I can see all the content and get to know the fights on an awesome, not too stressful level. I like that I can get all the transmog and raid whenever I have the time to through the group finder.
8/10Mythic personal progress, 10/10Mythic guild progress. Raiding is the reason i play this game.

Crazy thinking that in MOP, Heroic would be just normal difficulty, and Normal would be flex difficulty, 10/10M on Illidan, only run twice a week now, one for people needing certain items and the other gearing melee's ranged alts for next tier.
Been doing hc pugs and gotten curve from HM, working on BRF HC atm - was going with a regular guild, but they seemed hell-bend on not learning mechanics, so I just figured it be easier to join random groups and get some progression. Been fun so far actually! (might be lucky with a good battlegroup or something).
Your first point is fair, more people would attempt Mythic and this may lead to QQ to nerf Mythic but these players must learn that Mythic is the highest possible difficulty setting for raiding right now and they should understand that this difficulty should not be tweaked (of course with a few exceptions). Basically, all I want is a chance to progress in Mythic, I know there is no way in hell I will be able to get Blackhand mythic down, but even managing to kill 1-3 bosses on Mythic would make me happy, then I could carry on with progress when the next raid tier is released, which will make it easier for pugs.
I don't fully agree with you about Pugs though. I have been pugging raids since Flex and OQueue came out and it was perfect for me as I could finally raid at a decent difficulty and I could finally enjoy raiding again. I also have had mostly good experiences in pugs and I only really encountered pugs who disband right after the first wipe maybe a handful of times.
Also, whenever I join a successful pug I always like to ask the players that I like from the group for their battle tag so that we may raid together again. Sure, having good players on your friend list is not the same as a guild, but it's the best someone like me (with no guild) can do. So by forming groups this way, the group is not as unorganised as most pugs and I believe this increases the success chance of the pug greatly.
No I stopped raiding, now I pvp with a couple of friends instead.
