It has finally got to the point, where the arguments against Marijuana are so stupid that there should no longer be a reason to not legalise it.

It's about time to legalize it, these arguments are so ridiculous they are basically grasping at straws...

Something tells me that getting high and watching stoned rabbits stumble around would be the best thing ever.

I like the DEA and all, they clear a lot of scum from the world by taking down drug distributors..... But they gotta let this weed thing go, it was adopted into the controlled substances act arbitrarily because a) the act needed one more drug to pass, and b) it was intended to push mexicans out of the country and 'protect white women's chastity'; Two rather sketchy reasons for the introduction of a law that now costs the U.S billions in interdiction, incarceration, enforcement, investigation, and court fees.

The 'issues??' that propelled it onto the list of banned substances are no longer (like they ever were) a problem. Time to abolish a pointless and expensive law and let a new industry flourish atop America's newest cash crop.

Legalize it. Tax it. Regulate it. Profit. Enjoy.

Did you miss the part where it said EDIBLE products?

Animals have eaten the plant for as long as it has existed.

Isn't it taking about farming and the plants? How would a bunny get an edible product?

And I would eat the animals that ate those plants. Could make a niche product industry out of it; An all weed-fed meat company.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm........ And it only makes you hungrier after you eat it.

Eating the plant wouldn't get it high. It would have to smoke it for maximum effect. It probably wouldn't taste good either.

The high rabbits was more of a side note. The real argument was that the illegal marijuana plantations disturb the natural fauna and causes erosion etc. The linked article pretty much nails it that this is yet another reason for legalizing and regulating marijuana. To remove all incentive of it being grown in places where you don't want to destroy the natural fauna.

Err what? Then don't feed the rabbits weed? In Louisiana we have signs to not feed alligators. If people feed alligators, alligators associate humans with food, which is reasonable. But why the fuck would humans feed rabbit weed? Were they high when they wrote this?

    O.o

eating the raw plant on the stalk would certainly get it high if it ate it after the trichromes started appearing.
The sticky oils of the plant, that protect it from predatory insects, is very potent.
There are quite a few herbavores that munch on weed and trip balls out in the wild.

Google "Inside the Trichome". i would link it, but I'm ban-wary atm, and i don't really know if posting a link to a drug-related site (regardless of context) qualifies as an infraction.

Because, like alligators, rabbits can be adorable. And it is entertaining to watch adorable things stumble and fall over.

Yeah in the U.S we can't even keep drugs out if prison. Prison! So yeah the DEA could be a resource better spent in something else.
