Frost Viable in 6.2?

So I've always played a Frost DK, but currently it is a completely nonviable spec.

Looking at 6.2 it looks like the spec is getting a boost, does this make it viable again or is unholy still the way to go?

currently in 6.2(ptr) 2h frost seems to be the best spec for single target and unholy for AoE, may change since it's ptr

The planned buffs are just baseline damage buffs, which is obviously needed, but won't allow frost to keep up with the rest of the raid as gear levels increase. Best case scenario is that frost ends up being good for very early progression, i.e. good if you are in a guild that is skilled enough to clear the raid over a couple of lockouts. But if you are in a more reasonable guild that takes months to clear all the content then you can expect to fall behind the rest of your raid as they gear up. Standard procedure for frost players.
