WoW-quitters, why did you go?

I actually sometimes question if Blizz even reads the answers when people unsub, since you'd think by now they'd have figured out ways to keep players from leaving in droves every other quarter.

But, since this seems like it will inevitably set the tone for 7.0 (since that seems like their next big update after 6.2), it's probably a good idea to poll the WoW-quitters on MMO-Champion for why they left the game. They always have some kind of big about-face in new expansions to try and stem the bleeding from last expansion, and maybe we can get a better idea of not just the lore but the content of 7.0 if we know why people quit in 6.1.

EDIT 2: I get a lot of you want to respond with "No Flying" in the poll, but I actually kept that out on purpose. Yes a lot of people are mad about it, but a lot of those people are mad about "No Flying and..." I'd rather get ideas besides just 1000 "add flying back in" ideas since there's more wrong than just that.

As i said in other posts as a former hc raider(pre-wod meaning) i don't feel like raiding mythic anymore coz i don't want a second unpaid job and in wod there's absolutely nothing to do outside of raiding, also garrisons are the last nail on the coffin of the social aspect of the game

That is how horrible WoD is. I have infinitely more fun playing vanilla.

I was bored to hell and BRF for me was the worst raid ever since Heart of Fear and Black Temple

So i had to say goodbye to my guild and friends because i was shivering at an idea of playing this for an even a week more.

I only continued to play because the token came out, but even that is wearing thin.

- Lack of new non-instanced content. I'm not doing another bunch of Shaohao rep grinds just because that's all they could be assed to add.
- No flight (should be a poll option, believe it or not)
- I cba to raid anymore, and doing LFR as a primary raiding fix would be as fun for me as bathing in gasoline then running through a burning house
- Pvp in it's worst state than ever (I really didn't think it would be as bad as MoP...man was I wrong)
- Class raping...er pruning
- How the fuck did I forget to mention the cancer known as garrisons

I went with the "I found a more interesting MMO" option. Which is indeed true. GW2 has fully replaced WoW as my go-to MMO at this point. Only other ones on my radar are ESO (if it ever went on sale for 20 bucks or such) and FF14, and I'm not so keen on playing a subscription MMO again, having seen how much GW2 offers without needing to pay one.

This pretty much sums up my feelings. The only fun I have with the game at all in WoD is chasing old achievements and grouping with RL friends (which would be fun in any game).

It had such potential.. but they took away flying at max level... gave us zero reason to leave our garrisons at max level and the whole levelling processes was bloody aweful. Add to that the absolute grade A clusterfuck that is now professions... I quit not long after launch.

My sub expires later today, I'm not resubbing for awhile for a few reasons
a. So bored. The lack of meaningful things to do once you get to max level is harsh. before you had daily Heroic dungeons, but the dungeons are dreadful for this expac. Managing garrisons is like doing a facebook game, and that's not for me.
2. raiding has fallen apart. At the start of WoD my guild was back to raiding, but three weeks in a row we had PUGs who may have never successfully interacted with humans before, the first was a virulent sexist, the second was a guttermouthed racist, and the third was a "l33+" player who insisted on having one of the important jobs, didn't do said job, then mocked everyone for wiping. This left a foul taste in everyone's mouth, and raids haven't picked up since.
III. Knitting. I've been knitting and it's quite difficult to knit properly while still playing, although it does appear to be magic for making queues pop.
