parallel dimension. The idea of multiple versions of earth

So in a parallel dimension where there's multiple versions of earth. Think of the movie "Parallels." If earth is destroyed in one dimension is it destroyed in the other dimensions?

Never seen the movie, but in most adoptions of multiverses/parallel universes, each universe is independent/unaffected of others.

Oh boy, another pseudoscience thread.

1) There's no proof of the multiple universe/dimension theory, therefore no place for this question.
2) If there was proof of said theory, there's no proof that they even interact with each other without some way to observe them.
