As someone who's mostly alone and has almost no one to relate to, I don't want people coming to visit me because they feel obligated. It feels wrong to have someone want to do something with you because they think they have to. "Hey, lets do something and invite Templar along!" is way better than "Templar's not doing anything and he's by himself. Lets go to his house!"

Yeah. I had a friend yesterday, at 7am, ask if I could come over and talk. I drug my sorry ass out of bed on a day where I'd normally sleep in until well after 2pm to go talk to a sad friend.

A good college friend worked the overnight shift and called me at 4 am to ask about dinner. "Fuck you jerk! Yeah we're still on!"
