Mafia 56: K-pop sign up thread.

I'm more or less indifferent to K-Pop. To be honest, it's probably better to listen to foreign language songs, that way you don't realize just how stupid some of the lyrics are. Such as that rap song that my coworkers kept playing where the guy was all like "I'm different". I don't know who the artist is, but I call him Ariel cause he's about as different as a Disney Princess singing about how they want something more in their life. Seriously, the Backstreet Boys sang about how they were different (actually, they said original, but it's the same thing really), does a rapper who wants to be considered badass really want to be in the same boat as a 90's boy band?

Na you don't need to know the theme. Basically anyone could be almost anything in Kpop, we've not assigned the roles randomly (almost) everyone has a reason for being the role they are but you could take that character and assign them a totally different role for perfectly valid reasons so it will be possible to theorize who is what but it's just as likely that theorizing will be totally wrong and also not involve any characters in the game since there is literally hundreds to choose from.

You can do research if you want but if you start now unless you research all of Kpop somehow in a week you could end up researching 100 people that aren't even in the game xD

Also I'll add the only people here that know every character well enough to theorize about them properly really is me and Pistol and we're both mods. Listo, Mercy and Cruelle all know a bit but they're too new to know it all and Listo only likes the boy groups

Never underestimate the power of the Google! But hey I can still theorize based off the groups/people I know! (like seriously I have been theorizing who the mafia could be for months)

Oh also to other mods of games, how do you assign roles? Do you just use random.org and keep rolling until every role has been selected?

I got bored during the long nights of the last game and made this to assign roles

I make a list of roles, and a list of names.
Then I shuffle either list in random.org's list randomizer, and assign it 1:1
Excel also has a list randomizer thing.
I also made a javascript tool to track night actions which can also randomize names. I'll release it after the MMMM game
