Thumb mouse buttons not working on raid frames

So I am having an issue where the thumb mouse buttons, such as the ones in this picture on my mouse will not work if I click them when hovering over a raid,part or player frame. What ever ability is bound to them will simply not activate. This happens with both my Logitech G502 and my G400. It also happens on every raid frame I've used (which is damn near popular one). I was unable to find anyone else with this issue that posted since 2013 and the fixes I found back then no longer seem to work.

Is there a raid frame in which the thumb buttons on these mice do work or is this a known issue?

i dont think its an issue, ive had as i can remember 6 different mouses past few years and all was different brands, type of mice etc. and none was able to do it. so im guessing its working as intended.

Seems that way, was able to fix it using Clique however. Looking up the issue for 2 months and 5 minutes after opening a thread I find the answer
