You serious? You ride on his land, he bitches you out, and you post the video on the internet?

You weren't patient with him. While you may have been in the right like you claim, you could have explained to him what you explained in your video. Deuchebaggery meets deuchebaggery = obvious escalation.
he shouldn't have started the conversation the way he did, but you also antagonized him.
All he had to say was "I don't want you riding on my land" and I would have said "okay" and left.
When you start a conversation with someone with "Whats your name and where do you live!" you can't expect the other person to be very respectful of you.
If the guy had put out his hand and said "im so and so" and shook my hand I would have shaken is hand and said my name, we then could have proceeded to have a nice conversation where he could have explained he wants people to ask permission to ride here or that he doesn't want people on his land at all.
Perhaps that's why he's on the guy's property to begin with. He knows he's not supposed to ride there, he knows the old man acts this way when people ride there, but he figures hey if i come in from this entrance it's not posted I can take advantage of a loophole and make the land owner look like an asshole so he made a video of it.
I mean this is why you don't go on other peoples property I mean at least you didn't get shot at.

The whole scene and video looked wonky. No idea what the point of the video even is, in the first place >_<!!
All you had to do was realize where the hell you were. You're here to make yourself feel better for screwing up. It was even isolated, no one else but you and him had to know. But you had to pull a dick move and post it online. Hope you feel better, (trying to) shame some old cranky dude on the internet while he stands on his own property in the video.
What I see is that the old man was leaning on your bike as you started it out and left. Off balance as you just barely went by him does seem more likely to me than, as the title implies, "a tackle".
On topic though, I commend your patience with the old man - as he was indeed rather forward, even perhaps rude -, he did not have any clearly visible signs at that trail's entrance, at least that appeared on the camera, I'll give you that.
However it would seem to me this situation would have been dealt way more easily with a simple "Oh, sorry sir, I didn't see any signs at the entrance of this trail. Won't happen again."; While you were not in the wrong, I'm betting a bigger part of where his attitude came from a very "I do what I want! Nothing stopping me legally! lolrekt! Fuck respect!" attitude you displayed.
How are you doing sir and then the shit started.
His "attidude" was mere backlash for lacking mutual respect.
You go to the clerks office, check out a platbook find out who owns a chunk of land and ask them permission. Not sure where OP is from but in WI you need two signs for every 40 acres. Unless you go around the whole place you have no way of knowing if he has he required signs posted. Going into one drive that doesn't have a sign, does not mean he didn't have signs posted elsewhere.
He has a right to be rude to a man tresspassing on his land.
Do you due diligence, get a platbook, ask permission, next time you trespass, you may get an even more unfriendly man.
