    My 1 Year Transformation

Hey! Just wanted to share with you my transformation from skinny to strong! I started lifting because i was always very skinny and used to get pciked on by bigger kids at school, I have always been addicted to games and i think because of that and lack of exercise i became very unfit and underweight.
    I'm 5ft 10 and went from weighing a tiny 52kg to 72kg in about a year.

Along with a bit of size i also gained some strength! My current 1 rep max's are as follows

    Squat: 160kg (352lb)

    Bench: 100kg (220lb)

    Deadlift: 195kg (429lb) Really wish i could get 200kg >.<

I was always fairly strong but found a good powerlifting programme helped increase it quickly as well as having support from a coach.

    Before: http://i61.tinypic.com/2d6o1u0.jpg

    After: http://i58.tinypic.com/5l9fuh.jpg

Let me know what you guys think, if anyone wants to know my programme and diet i'd be happy to share

I get the feeling that this leads to a plug of the aforementioned "programme" that works.

Sadly raiding Always get's in my way lol

i still go to the gym once per week benching about 75kg x5, but i never really progress beyond that because i can't seem to find the time.
cool that you actually got your shit done.

Question tho: did you figuire everything out yourself (food / exercises) or did you follow someones programme?
    for example 5x5 or something.

You see in this world, there's two kinds of people my friend, those who want it, and those who don't. You wanted it.

    Grats doood.
    You cared enough to post.

    Thanks for the positive replies

When i started going to the gym alot of people laughed and said that i couldn't do it but i believe when you want something you have to keep fighting for it no matter what!

"When you want to succeed as bad as you want to breathe, then you’ll be successful"

This quote has always stuck with me. If you were to imagine you were being drowned you would fight with every last bit of energy to try and get your breath back so the same thing applies if you want to succeed, if you want to succeed you have to pour in everything you've got to achieve that.

No matter what your goal is, never lose sight of it.

You look pretty lean. However, your "52 KGs to 72KGs in 1 year". Yeah. No.
You don't gain 20KGs in a year. If you're on all the legal shit you might be at most 4-6KGs. And even that is overdoing it. (Talking pure Muscles).
I have a few friends doing shots, and yes. They hit well over that.

Anyway, GZ on the transformation. No way it took around 1 year. And if it did, you should chill now. Very much.

Gains 20kg in 1 year and goes to 2+ times BW squats, something smells fishy here. Quarter squat or bullshit.

Well... the gains do sound a bit suspicious, but you have to consider the fact that he's still young (probably still in puberty, 16-18?) so he probably gained weight just from growing/manning up along with the muscle/mass gains.

I remember my own parents accusing me of using steroids when I suddenly started bulking up a lot when I was like 17-18.... Though, I had a good base as I had played icehockey for like 13 years. After I quit hockey I started hitting the gym rather frequently and bulked up really fast... And there's no way I could replicate that kind of growth anymore.

If I recall correctly my bench went up from 100kg to 145kg in like half a year and my squat went from around 190kg to 220kg. Cant remember how much I deadlifted but my power-clean went from around 100kg to 135kg. The gains you can make at that age are rather astounding. The results might seem high'ish but I was 196cm/6'5 and 105kg/230lbs so it makes sense. Starter weight was around 95kg or so.

There was also another case where I did not see my best friend for 6 months when we were teenagers and I barely recognized him when I saw him since he had bulked up so much (he used to be really scrawny).

But yeah, good job on your transformation.... I've no doubt that if you used the right supplements and ate/trained right you can reach that kind of results at your age in a bit over a year.

yeah, still not squatting 2xBW in a year. Your anecdotes also sound, shall we say, fishy, to say the least.
