Hatred release's June First (Monday) will you buy it?

Like the title says will you buy Hatred monday? If not or so you will please say why. There has been early released gameplay videos like the one I posted below if anyone rather watchs that first. Many people seem to think Hatred has pushed violence way too far and I personally disagree. There should be no censorship on anyones art and games are a form of art. So what if someone makes a game just to be edgy just chose to ignore it and not buy it.

Thats my personally opinion so tell me what is yours. Also please try to be civil to each other

Backed up on games atm but I am getting the game. Love top-down games and the destruction in it looks amazing.

Watching the gameplay now. The destruction does look really well done. The little details like fire and glass breaking looks great. I can't see me spending $20 on the game but I will grab it at $10.

Seems you can die really easy and have limited respawns.

I'm seeing easy difficulty is pretty easy if you don't rush head on into things, like a full police building. There is armor so I don't think it will be as hard as some people make it out to be, or people are just bad at playing it.

What really sold me was seeing a guy drive his car right through a house.

I haven't seen that yet but sounds cool lol. I didn't notice if there is a difficulty setting but if there is I but the most hard is brutal

I'll look at it. The physics look really impressive. My only real issue are the exacutions. They feel abit too "real", if that makes sense. I mean postal and gta dont have that kind of thing with its pedestrians.

Still, if they decide to release a humorous dlc like where the killer takes drugs and makes everything colorful and cute I'm likely gonna pick this up. The thing most holding me back besides the executions is the lack of any color or overthetop humor. I mean this games whole concept is ridiculous to begin with.

I probably never would've heard of this game if I hadn't been reading gaming sites. I think they set out to generate publicity through controversy and it paid off.

I have a huge games backlog so probably wouldn't play it. Normally that would relegate it to the "eventually pick up for $5 in a Steam sale" pile, but...

No. The game has no redeeming charm like Hotline Miami does with the art and music to make up for the fact the gameplay and controls look like clunky pieces of garbage.

Gameplay looked like ass to me in the reveal and it still does.

Gameplay does look clunky I agree. There is moments where I think the game looks good like with the lighting of the cop cars,fire and stuff just overall breaking.

I really can't say enough good things about Hotline: Miami. I mean, that game was ultra-violent and disturbing, but for a reason.

Definitely will be getting a copy of it at some point, maybe I'll wait a few months until the price drops or pick it up for cheap on G2A or something.

I don't care for the game; 1. The gameplay is unappealing, 2. the visuals hurt to look at, 3. it's tasteless and dispicable and 4. I don't have time to play another game.

In my opinion Hotline Miami was more violent then Hatred. Ya Hatred has a lot of shooting and explosions and the really poor done exacutions but in my opinion its one of the lease violent games I have seen in awhile.

Maybe thats just me tho I don't see where its super violent. I get the context of it and why it would turn some people off. But after finally seeing a lot of gameplay it looks kinda plain.

I agree, I love hotline miami but the gameplay in it is pretty clunky which is why I compared the two they are similar in other ways as well so no denying the comparison. Different in other ways as well.

Hotline Miami with the vibrant colors, crazy acid trip story that blows your mind when you put it together and amazing music makes up for the clunkyness of the gameplay. I just don't feel like this game will have any redeeming factors for me like that.

If you mean streamable then no you can not stream it on twitch. Twitch has a ZERO AO (Adult Only) rule.

If you mean Steamable then yes its on steam and should be.

Nothing wrong with that at all. I need to play HM2 at some point.
