It really isn't.
The battle lines are drawn.
Infidels
And while I once agreed with you, I was converted, and now shall spend eternity in mighty Beervan after my husk decomposes and my spirit ascends to the higher plains.
Man is genetically predisposed to like cereal grains and sugars. Plants are genetically predisposed to produce yummy cereal grains. It's a win win for us.
nothing really compares to a cold one in your hand on a warm day after work.
As we germans like to say: "Das zischt!"
Just burn me and get it over with.
I don't think this matters nearly as much as you think it does.
While I agree with you about alchohol, a good cocktail and a cold beer are always ideal..I too once did not know enlightenment, but forced myself to learn after many situations where beer and wine were the only available beverages... Though I would rather drink hobo urine than a glass of wine still!
'Twas a cutlass swipe or an ounce of lead
Or a yawing hole in a battered head
And the scuppers clogged with rotting red
And there they lay I damn me eyes
All lookouts clapped on Paradise
All souls bound just contrarywise, yo ho ho and a bottle of rum!
Whats your fav? Mine is Hoegaarden or whatever its called
I feel like I'm the only guy in the world that thinks beer taste like shit.
Now for a scientific debate, cereal grains were not introduced into our diets (at least European (and thus or colony America)) until the Holocene (around 7000-8000 bp during the Neolithic transition from hunter/gatherer society to agricultural society, in this time can one really be genetically disposed to cereal grains?
I'm guessing most people have just tried shitty mass-produced lagers.
