Go to Alton Towers they said. It'll be fun they said.
Good thing I ignored them.
I think people often overplay a lot of Injuries sustained at places like this, i'm sure they're serious but people often run around like headless chickens.
Just two weeks ago, a piece of railing or track came off and hit someone waiting in a queue at a place called Flamingo Land in the UK.
I went actually at Flamingo Land yesterday and went on every single ride, including the one that the accident happened on and I honestly felt safe, even when I was on the worlds steepest rollercoaster.
Last night, my flight had to last minute emergency abort landing. Within a hundred feet or so of the runway, they had to kick the engines up to full and accelerate out. That was a bit concerning. But I'm also not afraid of flying at all. I'm much more worried about driving.
'Twas a cutlass swipe or an ounce of lead
Or a yawing hole in a battered head
And the scuppers clogged with rotting red
And there they lay I damn me eyes
All lookouts clapped on Paradise
All souls bound just contrarywise, yo ho ho and a bottle of rum!
