Nice, 4 large volcanoes, that are long overdue are all showing increased seismic activity. None of them share a "source" and thus could theoretically all erupt at the same time. Fun times.

You should probably come to 'Murica, volcanoes sound dangerous.

Aren't you in California, @<a href="http://www.mmo-champion.com/member.php?u=1008071" target="_blank">Valyrian the Moofia Boss</a> ? Are you at risk for flooding?
Southern California, but the rain stopped about a week ago down here. Also, I live on a hill, so unless there's a record-breaking tidal wave that makes it fifty miles inland, my house won't be flooded.

Just how bad was it when your house was flooded in '97? Was the house drowned or was it just that the flood ruined the first floor and weakened the structure so as to be unsafe?

What to do if you find yourself stuck in a crack in the ground underneath a giant boulder you can’t move, with no hope of rescue. Consider how lucky you are that life has been good to you so far. Alternatively, if life hasn’t been good to you so far, which given your current circumstances seems more likely, consider how lucky you are that it won’t be troubling you much longer.

I don't remember, honestly. I was what, eight when it happened? I was concerned about my fancy new Hot Wheels set when it happened. All I remember is we evacuated, and had to live in hotels/apartments for a while until the house was rebuilt. But now that I think about it, I only have memories of the floor and such below being worked on... I'll have to ask my parents.
