I wish, I loved my Lumia Windows Phone 8.1 but just seemed that all the apps I wanted to use were not available on Windows Phone.

Gotta buy an Android phone, which is surprisingly cheap nowadays. You used to be able to take a Windows Mobile phone and install Android on it, like my old HTC Kaiser. Was a lot better than Windows Mobile 5. But Windows Phone is locked down tight.

What's your current service and phone?

Umm.. hope its a phone with an unlocked bootloader and/or one you can unlock via terminal shenanigans and that has a working build of CyanogenMod available for it so you can just run Android.

    That's about your only hope.

Microsoft is working on two development kits that will let developer easily port their iOS/Android apps to Windows 10 (that include the mobile version), with no or little modification to the original code .

Here's an article about this: Windows 10 can run reworked Android and iOS apps
