Haven't won a BG today, or left the base in Ashran. Pure potatoes so far.

Update: Haven't won a BG since I made this thread.
Update#2: Still Potatoes after the hotfix to 4 set.
Update#3: Horde actually win Isle of Conquest, remove that from the ban list if you have it banned.
Update#4: Holinka just did an interview about the current issues with 6.2 and acknowledged the problems. Here is the video-

If it makes you feel better ashran ques for alliance already getting to be 2hrs+ and getting worse, so at least you can get in.

My main is Horde and my alt is Alliance. My horde char used to have well above 70% win rate for all bgs, and now I barely win any. Meanwhile my alliance char wins nearly everything. I play a lot of bgs.

I'll sum this up

Horde - Instant Ashran queues. You won't win a single event. You'll be in a group of 10 people with 4 of them doing god knows what in some corner while you try to kill the boss with 5 people and fail.

Ally - 3 hour Ashran queues but once you join, you gear even faster than last patch.

My main is a horde and I spent 3 hours in Ashran and was able to get 1000 honor not to mention the immense annoyance at being 3v10 half the time with the alliance artifact guy running around with 3 healers. Starting events with alliance not close, winning halfway and then the artifact guy appear with his healer cronies and wipe us out.

While my ally Druid that I leveled to 100 last week joined Ashran after a long wait and is completely honor geared in 2 hours.

Well looks like PVP is still fucking shit and easily the worst it's ever been. Seriously WoD PvP is junk and I will not return until Ele shammies are semi viable. Absolute fucking joke from Blizzard.

I have played as both factions today. The bottom line is that the majority of Horde players have no clue how to play.

I left/requeued Ashran about 3 or 4 times as Horde until I finally got into one where the Horde miraculously killed Ashran boss, that is the only shred of success I had all day as Horde. 0 BG wins, or even close games

Switched to Ally... I've won every single BG, not every BG was a domination, in fact some quite close, but they were all wins. 2 hour queued into Ashran, instantly won 4 straight events and killed boss twice, Horde unable to do anything.


It will eventually cool off. The arena players will eventually get geared and stop queueing. And then it will be closer to "normal". But I feel bad for anyone on Horde who has to delay their season by 2-3 weeks because Blizzard can't control their own game

Honestly, reading this makes me happy that I stopped playing before WoD came out.

At least Blizzard gives people choices, it's either play ally, wait 22min for a random bg queue and enter the BG with about a 85% chance to win. Or play horde, get an instant queue and walk into a firing squad with a target on your back. Spamming random BGs and playing different classes in PVP is what always kept the game fresh, new and fun for me. Things didn't get old. The tradeoff meant that I'm more of a jack of all trades rather than a master one, but I always understood and accepted that. But, playing alliance and waiting 22 mins for a BG queue is unacceptable and playing Horde and getting your teeth kick in is no longer fun. Essentially, this ridiculousness takes away the aspect of the game I always found most fun to do.

Know how to fix the faction imbalance WoD caused? Make it so players cannot face the same faction in arenas or rated battlegrounds anymore. See how fast 50% of the alliance switch back to horde when they can't get into arena or rbg with 96% of them being alliance
