Predator title

Being the achievement hunter that I am, I've been scouring Tanan Jungle nonstop for this npc that is supposed to grant this title.

I can't seem to find any other information on it besides that the mob spawns inside Tanan Jungle, I've added him to my NPC database yet nothing is popping up, does anyone know?

It's supposed to be a true rare mob, not one of those that respawns in 5 minutes like the rest of them.

I've been looking around now and then and checking group finder as well and haven't seen hide nor hair of him.

Keep in mind it's also a feat of strength. It's probably going to be exceedingly rare and difficult to get, kind of like the void talon of the dark star mount or whatever it is called.

No idea, I've been trying to find him too. Even made the demon tracking elixir. I suspect he may be connected to the hunter's seeking crystal from the Order of the Awakened rep, but he might just be a rare spawn on the named dreadlords in Throne of KJ. The fact that none of them are 'Dreadlord', and all have unique names is kinda suspicious.

That's my thought. Tried farming them a little but I imagine he'd take more time to spawn than I put in if he's as rare as the achieve makes him sound.

Considering the predator title though, I wonder if it's something more inventive and he's some stealthed creature out in the jungle or something, but that might be giving Blizzard too much credit.

Looks like i will put to use a child name.
"Child predator" or "Predator ofchildren".

I've used the blue honoured item in various places in Tanan starting @ the top left and marking out 500 yards just encase lol, so far no luck

Dunno why but the title "Predator" suggests me that we have to track it down somehow. Maybe like how hunters had to do with the unique looking pets in MoP where they had to find and follow tracks? I really don't know, but that's what came to my mind first...

You can find this mob randomly by using the Master Hunter's Seeking Crystal. If lucky, you'll get teleported to 69.77, 38.52 in Tanaan where you can fight it.

You will also get a Nether Trap debuff on you while there.

Seriously only 2.3mil hp!? There's no way anyone will advertise those in group finder or even in zone chat if they're that easily soloable, takes only 45 sec at 50k dps.

i don't think you can invite people to your phase in order to tag the mob..
