Apparently getting £72,000 a year in benefits. Isn't that a pilots wage? They took a £7,000 trip to Menorca last year apparently.
She was homeless too when she had her first kid. It is no doubt at all that she saw the house and money she got from having 1 kid and thought hey what about 2, or 3, or X
Even assuming that in this case, the state is adequately doing the will of the people, which I don't necessarily take for granted, you are implying that any conceivable use of collected taxes is good. That is clearly not the case. The state is an actor that can do harm, as well as good.
Lol! Most of the family looks ordinarily awkward and/or unhappy... but the daughter in the pink and spotted pants is posing like a model. I don't know why this amuses me.
EDIT: The government should really just cut off funding to people who are obviously abusing the system like this.
I found a quarter on the sidewalk yesterday. Damn, those sidewalks must be loaded. Going quarter hunting again today.
Here we have it, the one extreme outlier case that somehow proves all people on benefits are scroungers...
Typical Daily Fail nonsense, 'look at this woman and her family, judge her, JUDGE HER!!
We should all be up in arms about this rare case representing roughly 0.000003% of the child benefits bill, just ignore the fact Greece is about to go under owing our banks roughly the same amount as the entire child benefits bill.
Anyway, just forget everything about this because there are more important things to worry about, there are a lot of female celebs that need to be judged on how they look in a bikini on the beach. The Daily Fail is an important bastion of journalism you know!
You're saying that like it's somehow a condemnation, but those of us who've grown up under universal health care pretty much just accept that this is exactly how it should be.
The same way someone else foots the bill for your security personnel, in the form of the local police.
Or the same way someone else foots the bill for saving you and your house when a fire breaks out, through the fire department.
The fire department's absolutely going to come save you and your house even if it's you that accidentally started a grease fire in the kitchen. Hell, even if it was you who committed deliberate arson; they'll figure that bit out AFTER the house and everyone is saved, if possible.
